An important benefit of membership is the chapter newsletter, which is produced bimonthly, and distributed by email. The Willamette Galley e-zine contains chapter news, feature articles, and other items of interest.

Newsletter Guidelines

The Willamette Galley is published bimonthly in even-numbered months. The article submission deadline is the 15th day of the month prior to publication. Feature articles should be between 500 and 750 words. Book, software, and equipment reviews should be between 100 and 150 words. All articles must include the author's name, email address and a brief biography. All submissions will be considered for publication in the next appropriate issue and may be edited for grammar and clarity. While we prefer original articles written specifically for the Willamette Galley, exceptional articles may be reprinted if they are properly sourced and reprint permission is given.

Note: The Willamette Galley invites writers to submit articles that they wish to be considered for publication. By submitting an article, you implicitly grant a license to the Willamette Galley to run the article and for other STC publications to reprint it without permission. Copyright is held by the writer. Please let the editor know if this article has run elsewhere and if it has been submitted for consideration to other publications.
